Speaking Information

Judy’s love for people blends naturally with her passion to share what God has taught her during the challenges and struggles of life. She considers it a great privilege to speak to women and feels strongly that hope and faith for today and tomorrow is essential to personal well-being.

She is committed to sharing frankly as she reaches women with a message of God’s friendship, love and guidance. During each presentation, specific points are made, personal examples shared, Bible scripture and other books referenced...and lastly instruction is given for participants to apply what they have learned to strive towards their best .

Judy recognizes each group has specific needs, so she asks that you consider the following topic ideas: She is flexible and will gladly brainstorm with you to personalize presentations to meet the needs of your group:

There’s nothing trivial friendship! The Art of Authentic Friendship: Real Women, Real Challenges, Real Solutions

This presentation (or multiple presentations) hits a nerve for women who value friendship. Girlfriends are important to the well-being of women—they are vital relationships. Like her book, Judy’s presentations speak to a variety of friendship challenges to bring practical and applicable solutions. Sound advice, along with God’s word and spiritual wisdom bring persepective to the minor and major struggles women face with friends. What will be learned, in most cases, will benefit all relationships. Since women are complex, it’s quite a ride, so rest up and get ready to learn, laugh, cry as you focus on friendships, both old and new!

Under God’s Umbrella:
"Look Up, Step Up, Grow Up, Build Up"
• “Look Up—Turn and Face God—Receive Refreshing Hope”
• “Step Up—Put Your Faith in Action”
• “Grow Up—Changes and Choices to Start Living Out God's Best Today”
• “Build Up—Share Your Faith & Use Your Gifts”
These four topics can be the focus of a one hour presentation or a series of four inspiring sessions for a weekend retreat.

Anointed Dreams—Reflect, Release and Realize
Consider asking God, “What should I do next?” And get unstuck from dwelling in your yesterdays, by appreciating how “your story,” past history and life experiences can bring you to a place of being able to move forward in purpose and passion to make a positive difference in the world today! Step-by-step, learn how to use your gifts and know you are equal to, and as good as anyone else—yes, you can expect to live out your God-given dreams and experience the goodness of God on earth. Know you’re not alone in your fears—learn how to trust God’s timing and his ability to equip you in both your passions and your relationships! Understand His timing, grace and truth!

Refreshing Hope in God—The Motherhood Journey—Let’s Talk!
Judy will reminisce in the experiences and emotions faced when women take on their most important job—motherhood! The topics of this presentation go straight to the heart of moms of every age and stage! Judy candidly speaks to the realities of raising children successfully to adulthood and beyond. Being a mother brings women challenges, solutions and survival. Mothers are delightfully surprised to find they grow right along with their children!
On any given day mothers may face constant demands, shattered dreams, perfection, depression, guilt, pride, failure, fears and tears. But through Judy’s story and the reality of a realtionship with an ever-present God, mothers will learn how they too can take heart and receive tangible help and living hope through the strength of faith and prayer, gratitude and laughter, forgiveness and love—and finally, in realized dreams. You’re not alone in your joy, or in your pain. God’s forever faithful, and you’ll leave this presentation(s) encouraged and strengthened as you see your story often parallel Judy’s.

God’s Solid as a Rock:
Lessons from IsraelYour Commemorative Stones Relish in this time to reflect on the “stones” that memorialize your life journey and map out your spiritual path. This is an interactive presentation and/or workshop session that leads you to more fully recognize your spiritual experiences and God's presence in your life. Judy will share life lessons, lessons learned in Israel, and lessons from mentors in the Bible. You'll reflect on the age, life circumstances, events, influences and people that have interrupted or promoted living out God’s best in your life. This exercise is a powerful tool in remembering God's touch and intervention in your life, helping every person to build a solid foundation of faith for tomorrows!
“You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men; being manifested that you are a letter of Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.” II Cor.3:2-3

Striving Towards a Better Me: Self-Care of Your Mind, Body, Soul
Try it, you’ll like it—you can make room for you! Find out how to control your schedule, rather than it controlling you. Quiet time? What’s that? Come ready to find some as Judy shares how to better nurture your mind, body and soul. Becoming a better you, and caring for you, is an exciting goal, because no matter how young or old, it’s a lifelong process. Just when you think you’ve arrived, there’s more to challenge or to learn. You’ll leave ready to start healthy habits for yourself, and your renewed energy will overflow on those you love, bringing greater contentment to every day.

Encouragement

Contact Judy about leading a personal book discussion for your organization or church. If your group or organization plans to read either of her books, invite her to join you for a book discussion and Q & A. It is an intimate time of encouragement and fun, sharing and caring…with the author!

“I heartily recommend Judy. I see her as a woman of amazing insight and compassion. Her writing and speaking not only inspire but open the door to effective healing. There are those who point out the wrong, and there are those who bind up the wounded and lead them to wholeness. Judy is the latter.” Dr. Robert Flores— Pastor, West Salem Foursquare Church

“As a friend and colleague I have found that Judy is “real” in person and on paper when she addresses the serious situations that any one of us might face on any given day. That being said I would also note that with a twinkle in her eye and a warm smile Judy exudes fresh hope right in the middle of these most stretching topics. No part of the human experience is left untouched by her as she brilliantly takes into account the whole person - mind, body, spirit and soul Love is heard throughout all of Judy’s work and is at the foundation of all she does.”
Kathy Gilbert, Pastor for Community Life, Eugene Faith Center, Eugene, OR
